What Katie Did open London boutique!
By Rollerblade on October 16, 2007
Faux vintage lingerie, corset and stockings specialists What Katie Did will be opening their first stand alone London boutique on Friday 19th October at 26 Portobello Green, London W10 5TZ (telephone 0845 430 8743). The afternoon of Saturday 20th is by invite only – but of course you are invited! The password for entry is ‘stockings’!
Inside the boutique you’ll be swept back in time into a 1950s style corsetorium where you can be fitted for a steel boned corset, choose from a wide range of 6 strap suspender belts and retro lingerie or be advised on the most suitable kind of stockings for your outfit.
What Katie Did isn’t just about lingerie. Their AW07 collection includes the most opulent jewel toned velvet and iridescent corsets which are designed to be worn as outerwear, not just at burlesque and fetish clubs but at Christmas balls. A range of diamante costume jewellery inspired by Hollywood’s golden era and long satin gloves add the finishing touch.
Opening hours are 12noon to 6pm Sunday and Monday, 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday.
The What Katie Did collection can also be purchased online at www.whatkatiedid.com. A free printed catalogue is available on request.
