The Kingdom, by Valentino Varan Vesarach

By on December 24, 2012

The Kingdom is a photographic essay developed during the Perth International Burlesque Festival.

Valentino Varan Vesarach was born in Bangkok, where he lived childhood with his mother Isabella from Italy and father Yudhadanay from Thailand. At the age of one year, he landed in Venice, living his childhood years with his mother. After living between Bali and Italy, Valentino moved to Australia. His passion for traveling around the world started with the impatience of youth and grew with his interest in the work of his uncle, Pino Usicco, the artist and art historian.

Today Valentino continues to develop real life, people, documentary and fashion photography. His artistic path is rooted in the basics of photography: the light, the colours and an intimate relationship with the subject. His photography captures moments and moods that are part of the most intimate reality of his subjects.

Valentino now lives in Sydney and is particularly tied to his mentor, the distinguished London photographer Sam Harris.
