Swedish Fetish photo book by Andrea Belluso
By Rollerblade on June 5, 2007
Andrea Belluso has been working as a fashion and beauty photographer for 26 years. Having started his career in London, he then moved to Paris, then Milan and he is today based in Sweden.
Belluso has been working on Swedish Fetish since December 2005. The book depicts the fetish scene in Sweden – only real fetishists are portrayed, not models posing as fetishists. He has penetrated a normally private lifestyle, photographing sessions in private dungeons.
“Swedish Fetish” is not a documentary book, where all the different fetishes are depicted, but a selection of people and situations that Belluso finds aesthetically interesting. There are studio shots, exterior night shots, fetish event pictures and private dungeon shots during actual BDSM sessions.
The book will be published by Andrea Belluso in a special limited edition of 300 copies, signed and numbered, in large coffee-table format, with 240 pages of high quality paper, printed in five colours and with a laminated hard cover. It’s a very good looking object to have on any coffee-table. Each book will be delivered with two photographic prints. This first special edition is a “photographer’s cut” version with photographs that will not be included in the following edition which is planned to be published in 2009.
This special limited edition of Swedish Fetish is only available through the site www.belluso.com/fetish and will not hit the book stores. This is to give an added value to the book, making it only available on a first-come-first-serve basis and giving it collectible value.
