Rosie Lugosi, Lesbian Vampire Queen – at Skin Two North 2012

By on March 22, 2012

Lock up your daughters, hold on to your hats and keep your hand on your holiday money… prepare yourself for the Lesbian Vampire Queen, Rosie Lugosi, bitch goddess top femme dominatrix from Hell, our MC at Skin Two North.

There’ll be twisted tunes and perverted poetry, killer curves and killer fangs, hisses and kisses…. Terror with a dash of tease, glamour with more than a hint of hellfire. So give a warm hand – and throat – to the boot-stomping, whip-cracking, neck-biting, out-all-nighting, tongue-lashing, nail-slashing, Rosie Lugosi.

Rosie Lugosi is a mistress of musical mayhem. She is an electrifying comic cabaret singer, one of the UK’s most in-demand comperes – and certainty the kinkiest. She has been tantalising audiences worldwide with her unique blend of camp humour, mayhem and song for ten years, performing twisted parodies of Andy Williams, Shirley Bassey and Gloria Gaynor (to name a few poor victims) in a vamp-goth-fetish style. She has appeared throughout the UK as well as Europe and the USA, and sings with cult goth band The March Violets.

Among Rosie’s awards are the Dada Award for Performance Artist of the Year and the Erotic Oscar for Best Solo Performer. Media comments include

‘The English undead lesbian singer-comic icon’: Time Out New York,

‘Lock up your daughters, and anyone else of a nervous disposition, come to that… Rosie Lugosi is a cross between Shirley Bassey and Motorhead’: Manchester Evening News,

‘A flamboyant hostess. Six feet of immaculate PVC… Rosie’s superior attitude and school-marm promises to see us after the show repeatedly win her fans… she’s never had anything but squeals of delight from her audience. Terrifyingly terrific!’ : The Pink Paper,

‘Six foot tall in six inch stilettoes, she lays into the audience with a finely judged battery of insults and double entendres – and they love it’: Diva,

‘Spanktastically superb!’: Bizarre
