Gallery opens dedicated to Bob Carlos Clarke

December saw the opening of an inspiring new photography gallery that will exhibit carefully chosen works by some of the world’s most celebrated photographers. Located in the heart of Chelsea, at 13A Park Walk, London SW10 0AJ, the Little Black Gallery gallery is dedicated to the memory of Bob Carlos Clarke. It will also be home to the Bob Carlos Clarke Foundation with a room of photographs available for sale by the legendary photographer.
The opening exhibition MOST WANTED was a mixed show exhibiting the favourite works of a diverse range of photographers including Deborah Anderson, Eleanor Curtis, Nadav Kander, Barry Lategan, Chris Levine, Craig Lynn, Annabelle Nicoll, Anja Niemi, Terry O’Neill, Paul Plews, Jake Polonsky, John Stoddart, John Swannell, Alistair Taylor-Young, Crena Watson, and Minnie Weisz. Also included in the show were works by Norman Eales available for sale for the first time.
The Little Black Gallery is a partnership between Lindsey Carlos Clarke, Ghislain Pascal and Tamara Beckwith. Lindsey Carlos Clarke is the widow of the late great photographer Bob Carlos Clarke. Together for more than 30 years, Lindsey was a model and appeared in many of Bob’s classic images. She then managed Bob’s studio and career. Ghislain Pascal was the agent of Bob Carlos Clarke and today manages The Estate of Bob Carlos Clarke. He also owns and runs the PR and celebrity management company Panic which has represented Tamara Beckwith for the past 12 years. Tamara Beckwith has been a collector of photography for many years and was a friend of Bob Carlos Clarke.
