The Foundry, one of London’s trendiest venues, will play host to an exhibition of recent work by photographer Peter Felix Kurtz, from 28 November to 10 December.Kurtz specialises in provocative and stylish fetish and BDSM images. For over a decade, he has worked with professional dominatrixes, models, fetish clothes designers, BDSM product manufacturers, and friends from the scene. His work is regularly exhibited, and has been shown in galleries and exhibitions in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, USA, and Australia. His images are sold worldwide, and are frequently featured in books, magazines, catalogues, and websites.

Influenced particularly by the German Expressionists, Kurtz has developed an intense exploration of a genre of alternative sexuality. Kurtz also likes to work outdoors. “I shot outside the Bank of England, and the driver of a double-decker stopped his bus (with passengers onboard) and watched the shoot for about fifteen minutes. A similar shoot at Tower Bridge drew a crowd of hundreds, all taking their own photographs.”

The Foundry is open from 7 to 11pm, at 84-86 Great Eastern Street, near to Old Street tube. It’s a bar, so stay and have a drink.
