MUD in Manchester!

It wasn’t so long ago that, if you wanted to get up to BDSM play in a dungeon setting, you simply couldn’t – and that was that. Most people have no space at home and/or they have kids and anyway, home is a bit dull – it’s more fun to go to a special place to really get into the mood. Recently, there’s a welcome trend to hire out specially equipped spaces to couples or small groups wanting a space to play for an hour or three. And MUD brings that trend to Manchester. It stands for “Manchester’s Unbelievable Dungeon” and it’s over 120 square metres of atmospheric space in railway arches near to Victoria Station.

There’s a chillout area, room to change, subtle lighting and loads of BDSM equipment you probably won’t have at home, including a rotating wheel, dog cage and all kinds of bondage and suspension apparatus. There’s a friendly Dungeon Master on hand to show you how to use it all safely. The various discrete spaces even include a wet room.

You can play with your loved one, or with a group of friends, or take photos or make films. Several local BDSM groups have meetings there, too. Find out more at – or discuss MUD in our forum Click Here
