Lottie Kixx performs Darkest Fantasy in Edinburgh 3-4 of August

By on July 30, 2013

lottiekixxDarkest Fantasy plays with the concepts of subordination and servitude and confronts the ideologies of ownership and entitlement. It explores the female feline and her wild and noncompliant nature and aims to present the differing roles that people play and asks if marriage itself is a dark fantasy.

Lottie is a dark and decadent performance artist whose lyrical shows offer an indulgent mix of seductive music, impeccable choreography and exquisite style, she has performed fetish and twisted cabaret burlesque at venues including the London Burlesque Festival, World Burlesque Games, Torture Garden, Skin Two events, New York Rubber Ball, Sydney’s Blue Moon Festival, Festival of Erotic Arts, and more.

Lottie will be performing Darkest Fantasy as part of the Peep/Anatomy series:

‘Through Keyholes of Flesh’
3rd and 4th of August
at Peep/Anatomy @ Assembly George Square Gardens
7pm until 9pm.

PEEP is a brave new space — a small box of wonders with a full programme of theatre, dance, cabaret, sound installation and live art. The audience are seated in private booths peeping on the unfolding show – but the artists can’t see them. It’s a peepshow, but definitely “not for the raincoat brigade” (The Guardian).

Through Keyholes of Flesh is an intimate and unique series of live art installations created bespoke for the PEEP venue. The strange, the wonderful, the grotesque and the eerie mundane. £2 a look – for as little or as long as you want.
