London Alternative Market – First Sunday of the Month in London
By Rollerblade on April 10, 2012
LAM is a friendly Sunday afternoon fetish market which supports a range of BDSM community causes. It’s very much open to all, including just abut every alternative sexuality you can think of – including the newcomer and the just plain curious.
There are stalls selling fetish products of all kinds, so you can browse for interesting purchase like a cat o’ nine tails, a pair of handcuffs or a leather or rubber outfit. Dee at Second Coming sells secondhand clothes, Victoria Wilder makes super leatherwear and Neil & Star of Wanderlust can sell you a fabulous vintage violet wand kit. Dom-estics have all kinds of interesting gear (including the current issue of Skin Two magazine)
There are workshops too, where your can learn kinky skills and techniques, such as the art of rope bondage, electrics, hot wax, strap-ons, and so forth. There’s bund to be something you have always fancied learning and here you can find out how to do it properly – and responsibly.
LAM is in a pleasant and spacious venue from noon until 6 pm and there’s an after party later on.
Look out for the LAM birthday bash in March with free entry to the afterparty for all those who attend the market. They will also be presenting their annual Lamie awards, voted for by LAM attendees.
