Project LatexLand in Montreal

By on March 5, 2007

Latex Land Montreal Project LatexLand, the brainchild of Photographers Gil Perron & Martin Perreault, is all about Latex and the people who wear and love it but with a very special twist…Intriguing yet simple, PLL will bring forward the most elemental fantasy of all latex enthusiasts, that of being able to dress as one pleases and to go about one’s daily routine in absolute freedom.

It is our intent to visually recreate a parallel universe where LATEX is the only way to go! Simply put, Latex Land…is exactly that. With Phase 1 Shooting from the 15th until the 17th of June 2007 inclusively, we will place latex, and the lovers of latex in situations and scenes which will defy the imagination and will both stun and excite the mind. Working with the TRUE latex lovers as opposed to established models will also bring a sense of realism that only true-believers can deliver!

The time has now come for the general open call which is to be held on:

— Wednesday May 9th from 6pm until 8pm
— Thursday May 10th from 6pm until 8pm
— Friday May 11th from 6pm until 8pm

Location: Studio Blah Blah: 1107 La Gauchetiere East, Montreal (corner Amherst, one block south of Rene-Levesque)

This open call is held in order for us to meet with all possible candidates and inform everyone on the different aspects of their possible visual contribution to the different scenes of the project. In order to do so, we will ask you to gives a list of the diversity of your personal latex wear and accessories; this will help us identify which scene(s) will most appropriately showcase your participation. In order to better prepare our work schedule, we will also ask you to confirm your availability for the actual photo-shoot weekend (June 15th – 17th). Remember, the more latex you own, the more availability you have, the greater your potential participation will be!

Please note that we aren’t searching for stars or top models but rather people who are true afficionados of latex!

We are anxious to meet each and everyone!
