The Recoat Gallery opened in July 2007 and exhibits graphic art, illustration, street art, graffiti and photography, work from an emerging art scene that has been dubbed as “Contemporary Urban”.

INSA (www.insaland.com) is exhibiting with Recoat for their 7th exhibition. His show will begin with a Private View on Valentines Day evening, and so takes the title “Buy My Love”, a word play on the themes that inform his work; “My aim is to create beautiful objects of desire in order to explore the relationship between sex, commodity and art. I want to show how our longing for products, material objects and even artworks themselves can be sexual, almost fetishistic”.
